University of Exeter Masters Excellence Scholarships 2026/27

The University of Exeter is offering Masters Excellence Scholarships for high-achieving international students enrolling in taught postgraduate programmes for the 2026/27 academic year. These competitive awards aim to support academic excellence and attract global talent to Exeter’s vibrant academic community.

Scholarship Value

• Awards of £3,000, £5,000, or £10,000

• Applied as a tuition fee reduction

Eligibility Criteria

You may apply if you:

• Are classified as an international fee-paying student, including EU applicants paying international fees

• Hold a conditional or unconditional offer for an eligible full-time postgraduate taught programme starting in September 2026

• Are a self-funded applicant

Selection Criteria

Scholarship decisions will be based on:

• Academic merit – equivalent to a UK 2:1 Honours degree

• A compelling 300-word personal statement addressing:

  • Your academic and career goals

  • How studying at Exeter will help you achieve them

  • Your contribution to the Exeter community

  • How you would represent Exeter as a scholarship ambassador

Application Deadline

• Deadline: 15 January 2026

• Results Notification: By 12 February 2026
