Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) has two postgraduate scholarships for overseas fee payers. EU nationals living in the EU can get up to £9,975 (nine thousand nine hundred and seventy-five pounds), which brings their fee down to the home rate. Other international students can get up to £3,000 (three thousand pounds). The international award now covers January and September 2027 entry, while the EU award lists start dates up to January 2027.

How to apply for Bournemouth postgraduate scholarships at AUB
- Apply for your postgraduate course and get an offer.
- AUB emails you a scholarship form after the offer.
- Submit it by the deadline given; the EU award runs first come, first served.
However, you can’t combine either award with other AUB awards. Also, the pages don’t give a fixed deadline date, so reply to AUB’s email quickly.

Worked example
Lucia, an Italian national living in Milan, gets an offer for a January 2027 MA. Because the EU award runs first come, first served, she returns the form the day it arrives. Meanwhile, Tunde from Lagos, starting the same course, applies for the International Postgraduate Scholarship of up to £3,000. See our UK student visa requirements guide.
AUB postgraduate fees for international students (2027/28)
| Course | Full-time fee a year |
|---|---|
| Most MA courses | £19,950, plus a £500 registration fee |
| MA Visual Effects and Photorealistic Computer Graphics | £22,000, plus a £500 registration fee |
| Master of Architecture | £19,950 |
AUB lists only its 2027/28 international fees, so treat these as the figures for September 2027 entry. With the full £3,000 international award, a standard MA comes to £16,950 (sixteen thousand nine hundred and fifty pounds), plus the registration fee, by our own calculation.
