Postgraduate Scholarship 2026 – University of the Built Environment (UBE)

The University of the Built Environment (UBE) is offering partial postgraduate scholarships for the 2026 academic year. This competitive award provides up to 50% off tuition fees for students demonstrating both academic excellence and financial need.

Scholarship Summary

• Award: Up to 50% tuition fee discount

• Study Level: Master’s

• Eligible Programmes:

  • Master of Business Administration

  • MSc Building Surveying

  • MSc Construction Management

  • MSc Quantity Surveying

  • MSc Real Estate

  • MSc Urban Planning

  • (Note: MSc Innovation in Sustainable Built Environments has a separate application process)

• Study Location: Reading, UK

• Sponsor: University of the Built Environment

• Application Deadline: 30 January 2026

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

• Hold an offer to study an eligible postgraduate MSc or MBA programme

• Demonstrate a strong academic record, such as a First Class or 2:1 Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)

• Show evidence of financial need

• Be from any country

• Belong to underrepresented groups such as international, BAME, LGBTQ+, disabled, care leavers, or low-income backgrounds

Not eligible: students funded by employers or UK Government Apprenticeship Scheme, and those enrolled in Postgraduate Single Module or Access Programmes.

Selection Process

• Applications will be reviewed for academic merit and financial need

• Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a virtual interview

• Final awards are determined by the UBE Bursaries Working Group

Required Documents

• Completed Postgraduate Scholarship Application Form

• Evidence of academic excellence (e.g., academic reference, testimonial)

• Financial documentation, such as:

  • Last 3 payslips

  • Last 2 months of bank statements

  • Proof of unemployment/benefits (if applicable)
